Please stop advertising on Bowl Champion Series (BCS) bowl telecasts.
When you do, we will ask our members to shop with you as our friend and supporter.
In case you are unaware, the BCS is unfair and corrupt for many reasons. The BCS:
Is anti-fair play.
Is anti-equal opportunity.
Is a monopoly that excludes worthy teams.
Excludes schools and conferences in sharing TV revenues.
Creates recruiting inequities.
Denies fans the best competition.
Deteriorates the moral fiber of America.
The case against the BCS system is so simple that no other
sport at any level has ever adopted such an absurd concept.
So why does it exist? Money. Money has corrupted the morals of a few.
The money comes from your purchase of ad time on TV, enabling the BCS to continue.
Your money comes from our purchase of your products, so we are enabling you.
Therefore, we must stop buying your products, until there is a playoff.
On January 1, 2012, we will stop buying your products, unless…….
You refuse to advertise during BCS telecasts of 2011-12.
