Our communication System
We will be posting “breaking news” weekly, so be sure to visit every Saturday for updates.
Our membership is so large we CANNOT rely on phones; nor will we be able to answer email directly.
We can use an email tree for marketing and two way communication.
Here’s how an email tree works:
|Level 1) I send email to 10 Squad Leaders (SLs) EVERY SATURDAY.|
|Level 2) Those 10 SLs each forward the email to 10||Total = 100|
|Level 3) Those 100 SLs each forward the email to 10||Total = 1,000|
|Level 4) Those 1,000 SLs each forward to 10||Total = 10,000|
|Level 5) Those 10,000 SLs each forward to 10||Total = 100,000|
|Level 6) Those 100,000 SLs each forward to 10||Total = 1,000,000|
|Level 7) Those 1,000,000 SLs each forward to 10||Total = 10,000,000|
|Level 8) Those 10,000,000 SLs each forward to 10||Total = 100,000,000|
!!! THAT is how we can get a message to 100 million members in a few hours.
Required skills for Squad Leaders:
- Able to forward emails to your squad.
- Ability to create an email folder of your squads’ email addresses will cut your time to less than one minute per week.
- If you have trouble with either of these skills, ask a teenager.
To ask questions or send comments, send back to the person who is sending to you.
(So each person could receive 10 emails with comments or questions.)
Ok……..this is where each of us has to take responsibility:
If you receive a question from your squad downstream, you must forward that email to your Upstream SL.
[If you keep getting the same questions, eliminate redundancies and send only one upstream. (Don’t forward multiple emails if they all have the same question.]
